Legacy helped the Lake Central School Corporation in St. John, Indiana obtain funding to support ongoing environmental initiatives. Lake Central obtained two electric GEM vehicles, assisted with a lighting efficiency project, used recycled materials for park benches, tables and paths at Bibich Elementary School, facilitated installation of diesel oxidation catalysts on school buses and initiated a recycling program at Lake Central High School.
